How Can I Find the Schedule of Live Events?

What is the Procedure to Purchase Tickets?
The festival is FREE but you must register to enter the festival you can register on line or with your smart phone at the entrance of the fest. Also please know that there will be a raffle that you will have an option to take to win a costume or a traditional Brazilian instrument
Can I Leave the Festival and Come Back?
Yes you are able to go in and out of the festival as well as visit other exhibit and other events throughout the jazz museum
Can I borrow drums for the samba workshop?
Yes there will be extra instruments for you to borrow for the samba workshop. You are also invited to bring your own samba drums.
Where can I register to win prizes at the festival?
Throughout the festival there will be QR codes where are you can actually register when you arrive at the festival. There will also be a registration page where you will be able to choose which prize you would possibly win for the raffle. Instruments costumes as well as cash prizes. But you must register
Will there be food and craft vendors at the festival?
Yes there will be food and craft vendors at the festival.
Will there be other events in collaboration with the festival?
Yes there will be three(3) other events one which is private RSVP only. September 16.
Also on September 16 Friday night Giovanni Santos and Cizza Paz Will be featured at Flavela Chick on Frenchmen Street
There will be a dance Brazil day on Sunday the 18th starting from 9 to 5
At the Annunciation Center located at 800 Race Street.
Can I take pictures with the Samba dancers and drummers or other performers?
You should ask for permission from the performer if want to take a photos with them. After the festival there will be a short 15 minute session for photos with the performers. Please have your smart phone ready to give a donation our contribution to the performer you take a picture of it as a kind gesture of appreciation.
Can I bring my own alcohol and food?
Sorry that is not permitted there will be Food vendors at the festival location.
